Chairman of Charitable Trust, Dr. Karan Singh on Monday paid the visit to the revered Mata Kheer Bhavani temple of Tulmullah and urged the devotees to participate in the annual pilgrimage.
Talking to the media during his visit, Dr. Singh addressed the concerns raised after the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, admitting that the incident had created fear among the devotees.
However, he emphasized that India has strongly responded and urged pilgrims across the country that they are not.
He said, “The recent incident has wisely created apprehension, but our response has been fully. I appeal to all the devotees to come forward, I participate in Mata Kheer Bhavani and Amarnath Yatra, and as Kashmir not only as pilgrims but also as tourists,” he said, Kashmir News Supervisor (No).
Dr. Singh assured that both the Jammu and Kashmir administration and the charitable trust have made extensive arrangements to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the annual mother Kheer Bhavani Mela.
He expressed confidence in the measures taken and encouraged people to maintain a sense of unity and devotion.
