Saks Global CEO Geoffroy van Raemdonck said in a statement: “As Saks Global’s transformation progresses, we are taking decisive steps to realign our business to better serve our luxury customers and drive full-price sales in our core luxury business.”
The decision comes two weeks after Saks Global filed its application. Chapter 11 Bankruptcy ProtectionPart of the reason is the company’s failure to pay $100 million in interest related to its $2.65 billion acquisition of Neiman Marcus in 2024.
