Doordash wants the competition of the competition bureau alleging that it misleads customers: Doc

Doordash Inc. The competition is asking the tribunal to throw a case accusing the tribunal accusing the misleading customers.

In a filing to the tribunal, the company says the Canadian competition commissioner has incorrectly created its fee structure and made claims against it which are false and misleading.

Commissioner Matthew Bosewell alleged last month that Doordarshan brought his online delivery services to the market at a lower price, which is actually a lower price than the consumers who actually pay.

In an investigation, his bureau found that customers were unable to buy food and other items at the websites and mobile apps of Dordash, as compulsory fees were added to the checkout.

Dordash is now arguing that its customers have not been misled because it is impossible for them to navigate the company’s marketplace without being fully aware of them.

Dordash says that those fees are displayed in its marketplace and the merchant store pages and checkouts are prominently and inadvertently depicted.
