Jerusalem:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday he had canceled a planned visit to Washington this week by top aides aimed at showing Hamas that Israel would not give in to growing international pressure to stop the war in Gaza.
“This is first and foremost a message to Hamas: ‘Don’t bet on this pressure, it’s not going to work,'” he said in video comments during a meeting with visiting U.S. Sen. Rick Scott Zhong said.
