US President Donald Trump has replaced the official portrait of former President Barack Obama from an attempt to murder at the grand entry hallway of the White House with a painting.
The 78 -year -old Republican President transferred Obama’s portrait, unveiling in 2022 by the then President Joe Biden at a new place occupied by George W Bush’s portrait. Bush’s picture, in turn, is taken to the ladder.
Trump’s new portrait depicted him with his fist with his fist, soon after Trump’s new picture attempted at Pennsylvania. This image became a decisive moment in his presidential campaign with the cry of “Fight, Fight, Fight” with Trump’s rally. The White House announced a change with a brief video on the social media platform X, with the caption “Some new artwork in the White House”.

The move highlights the long -standing rivalry between Trump and Obama, which is back to Trump’s President’s campaign in 2016. Trump launched his campaign by carrying forward the false “Bitter” conspiracy theory about Obama’s citizenship, inspired Obama to make fun of the White House Correspondent Association Dinner again and again.
The President’s portrait is a tradition for George Washington, in which the official portrait of the President is often displayed in the White House or a loan from the National Portrait Gallery. These pictures are usually oil paintings, although photography has been rapidly used. The White House Historical Association has facilitated the acquisition of paintings of presidents and first women since 1965.
Trump’s decision to change Obama’s picture with him is unusual, as most Presidents wait until they leave the office before their paintings are hanged in the White House. Although Trump ever hesitates to promote himself, recently displays a gold frame version of his Magshot outside the Oval Office and a bronze sculpture of his response to the attempt to murder at his Mara-e-Lago residence.
White House Director Steven Chewing responded to criticism of the move, asked a critic to “pipe down, Moran”. X. On rape. Marjori Taylor Green, a staunch Trump colleague, praised the new picture, re-designed a side-by-side comparison and wrote “much better”.

Obama’s portrait was not recently moved during redistribution. George W. Bush’s portrait was taken to the ladder, while Trump’s own portrait was traditionally reserved for the most recent official president’s portrait. In particular, the former President who Biden is yet to have an official picture, as the process usually occurs after leaving the office of a president.
This is not the first time Trump made headlines for his portrait-related works. Last month, he demanded the removal of a painting of himself from the Colorado State House, which was later taken down. In January, a portrait of former Joint Chief of Staff Chairman Mark Mile disappeared from a dedicated wall in Pentagon.
According to tradition, the pictures in the White House are the most recent presidents, but this is not a difficult and fast rule. The President can direct the curator to re -organize the pictures, as by Trump. During his first term, Trump transferred pictures of former President Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. From his first term, his official portrait of Trump should have been unveiled during his successor’s tenure, but it is not clear when it will come out.
