In an interview with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures,” Trump said, “Not yet,” when asked when he would announce his vice presidential pick.

“I didn’t and have no reason to,” Trump responded.
He went on to say that he spoke to “everyone,” and revealed that he recently spoke with Tim Scott, who dropped out of the presidential race last year before supporting Trump wholeheartedly.
“I called him and I said, ‘You’re a better candidate to me than you are,'” he said. “When I watched Tim play, he was good, he was good, but he was very low-key. I watched him play last week and he defended me, stood up for me, fought for me,” The Hill reported.
Trump later said Kristi Noem “fought an incredible fight” for him and cited her statement saying she would never challenge him “because [she] Can’t beat him. “
According to The Hill, the names of Tim Scott and Kristi Noem, among others, have been circulating recently.
After winning New Hampshire and Iowa, Trump has a commanding lead over his last major Republican rival, former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley.
