Donald Trump, ‘Hand’ protest against Elon Musk in America today: what is this

Arun Jain, 05/04/2025

Washington, United States:

Thousands of people across the United States will take the streets under ‘Hands of’ on Saturday! Banners, protesting against the grabbing a widespread power by Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

Over 1,200 protests by more than 150 organizations – LGBTQ+ Civil Rights Groups and Labor Unions for advocates, veterans and electoral reform workers – are planned in all 50 US states, are also expected in Capital and National Mall in Washington DC, also reported an associated press.

The movement, which has gained rapid speed, is probably called the largest single-day protest as Trump took over for his second term in January this year.

“They are ending our country. They are robbing our government. And they think we will just see,” hands closed! The campaign said on its official website.

The protesters are expected to oppose Trump’s policies, including social security cuts, large -scale trimming sort from federal agencies, consumer security rollbacks and exhios, including measures that targeted immigrants and transgender community.

Adding fuel to the movement is a growing backlash against the impact of Musk within the federal government, especially their role in the government’s efficiency department (DOGE) – an initiative related to aggressive cost cuts and restructuring. It follows the previous global protests in Tesla outlets that have been provoked by the #Teslatakedown campaign.

Musk, who serves as Trump’s leading advisor and heads Tesla and SpaceX, claims that his initiative is saving billions in the taxpayer fund.

Saturday’s rallies will be in front of federal buildings, state capitals, Congress offices and urban centers. The biggest protest will be in Washington, DC, where the organizers expect about 12,500 protesters to vote.

According to a spokesperson of The Times of India, participants are being urged to gather in the Silvan Theater, with speeches and programming, with the programming starting from midday, The Times of India.

“Donald Trump and Elon Musk feel that this country belongs to them. They are taking everything they can get their hands, and dare to stop the world. Saturday, on April 5, on 5 April, we are taking back to nationwide streets to fight with a clear message: Hands closed!” A statement was announced on the campaign website.

Another fraction of the site reads, “This is the most in modern history to raise a nationwide to prevent brazen power grab. Trump, musk, and their billionaire Crohnions are carrying out an all-out attack at every step at every step about our government, our economy and our basic rights.

“They want to strip America to close social security offices, firing essential workers, abolish consumer safety and control their billionaire tax scams.

While there have been many protests targeting Trump or Kasturi in the last one year, no 2017 women march or the Black Lives Matter has reached the scale of protests.
