At least 12 people have been killed in a high-intensity explosion in a slow-moving car near Delhi’s Red Fort area on the evening of November 10.
In the latest development, DNA testing of samples collected from the blast site has confirmed that Dr. Omar Un Nabi had carried out the blast in Delhi. After the blast, Dr Nabi’s leg got stuck between the steering wheel and the accelerator. News agency ANI reported that his DNA sample matched that of his mother.
“The DNA results confirm that it was indeed Omar who was driving the fatal vehicle,” PTI quoted a source as saying.
Umar was a key member of the “white collar” terror module busted earlier this week. He is a resident of Koil village of Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir.
