walter disney world A Florida worker was injured while trying to stop an out-of-control support boulder from rolling towards people sitting in the audience indiana jones Live performances.

A crew member working on “Raiders of the Lost Ark” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios park was knocked to the ground on Tuesday by the 400-pound (181-kilogram) prop boulder when it veered off course and began rolling toward spectators. Another worker stopped the boulder before it reached the audience.

Disney on Wednesday did not disclose the extent of the worker’s injuries, citing privacy reasons.

A scheduled show at the attraction was canceled on Tuesday following the incident, and Wednesday’s show was modified to exclude the prop boulder. Disney said it was reviewing why the prop rolled off the track.

“We are focused on supporting our recovering cast members,” Disney said in a statement. “Safety is at the core of what we do and this element of the show will be modified once our safety team completes a review of what happened.”

The show is based on the Indiana Jones film and recreates early scenes from the first film, “Raiders of the Lost Ark.”
