The feud between Tucker Carlson and Mark Levin is growing, although I’m not even sure you can call it a feud at this point because it feels completely one-sided.
So basically what happened here…
Via text message, Tucker Carlson personally invited Mark Levin to a debate.
The debate is to be hosted by TPUSA, and TPUSA invites Tucker and asks Tucker to invite Mark Levin. So he did the same.
On Friday, Levin leaked private conversations by reading text messages on his radio show.
Suffice it to say that Levin declined the invitation and called Carlson a “Nazi promoter”.

I got a very strange message from Tucker Carlson at 10:16 this morning. I will read it to you verbatim.
“Good morning,” he writes to me. “The leadership of Turning Point has asked me to debate you at their event in Scottsdale in December. I would be happy to do so, and I hope you will agree.
Beyond personal insults, which I will try to keep to a minimum, we have real and important ideological differences, and I think the country would benefit from an extended conversation about them. Then again, I hope you will accept. tell me. Thank you.”
The boy is frustrated.
His podcast has had an impact. He is fighting hard for his career. He is fighting tooth and nail for his reputation. People are finding out what scum he really is, and he thinks I’m going to give him a platform? He thinks I’ll help him increase his podcast ratings?
What would Charlie say? What would Rush say? What would be a rational response?
Here it is. I wrote him the following:
“My family and I want nothing to do with you, what you have become, your outrageous insults against my faith, millions of Christians, and what, in my view, you want to do to our country. There is nothing to debate. You are a Nazi enforcer. You are a modern-day David Duke.
I debate people with whom I disagree, who are much smarter than you, but for whom I have some respect. I am also disappointed with TPUSA who continues to platform you. This is not about free speech. Millions of people can hear you without any care.
Some unsolicited advice: Wait long enough to remember who you were and what you stood for.
So, as expected, without thinking:
“For the record, I am completely anti-Nazi.”
Is that how it feels to you, America? Oh, you’ll hear more.
“But that’s hardly the point. This seems like the perfect opportunity to refute what you consider to be bad ideas, and to do so in front of me like a man. I think you’ll take advantage of the opportunity, assuming you believe your position is defensible. I’m offering a market for the ideas you talk about so often.
Is it possible that you can’t really defend, for example, what Israel has done to civilians in Gaza?”
I said, “You take this. You’re not afraid, you’re despised.”
“Okay, you coward. And if you change your mind, I’m here. Thank you!”
You little bastard, you attacked my stepson. You didn’t do this face to face? When he was serving President Trump on his second tour, you stabbed him in the back while he was in a secure room with ballistic missiles passing over his head.
you little bastard. No one is afraid of you. I’d rather argue with a scoundrel than you.

Without taking any side in this, I have only one thing to say…
Tucker seems to be open to debate, open to the free exchange of ideas, friendly (with that trademark Tucker Carlson smile, naturally), and wants the free debate of ideas.
Levin, on the other hand, seems angry, stupid, irritable, and just plain bad.
Even hearing Levin’s voice as he read these text messages live on air (without Tucker’s permission) tells me that Levin has already lost the debate.
I also like how Levin must have felt, although reading all this on the air would have made him look good (or he might not have) but as far as I can tell Tucker is the one who looks good in this exchange.
What do you think?
But now finally let’s get to the part that really caught my attention and piqued my curiosity… Is Mark Levin more popular than Tucker Carlson? Does Levin have a big audience? Does Tucker need Levin to “save his career”?
Not with difficulty.
According to ChatGPT, here’s the truth – by most objective measures, Tucker has a larger audience and is more popular than Levine:
tucker carlson
Television (East):
His show Tucker Carlson Tonight on Fox News Channel was about average 3.25 million viewers per night In early 2023.
Historically, the show averaged in October 2020 5.36 million viewers (Monthly highest for cable news).
On YouTube: Their channel/related content shows number of subscribers ~1.0-1.5 million and total views in this hundreds of millions,
Episode-view counts on their YouTube feed: show individual recent videos Hundreds of thousands to several million views (For example, ~4.2 million on one video).
Podcast/Chart Rankings: His podcast (The Tucker Carlson Show) has ranked among the top YouTube podcasts and has an average runtime Approximately ~1 million views per episodeWith some episodes becoming hits ~3.5 million,
Summary: Tucker Carlson’s audience is very large (several million viewers on TV, high number of single-episodes online), but the numbers are spread across platforms and are not always comparable.

Television:
Life, Liberty and Levin are broadly featured on Fox News ~1.0-1.8 million viewers Depending on date/quarter, with normal Sunday showings 1.4-1.8 million P2+ And ~100-170k 25-54 in demo.
Radio/Podcast:
The Mark Levin Show is nationally syndicated (hundreds of stations). Public, aggregate download/views figures are not consistently released, but industry reporting has long placed Levin among the top American talk hosts, meaning multi-million weekly viewers,
Summary: Mark Levin has a strong, multi-platform audience (TV, radio, syndication). But the publicly reported numbers for his TV shows are lower than Carlson’s (on comparable metrics).
Direct Comparison and Conclusion
Based on the most comparable data available:
Upon switching platforms, Tucker Carlson’s viewership (for his TV show) was significantly higher than Levin’s: ~3 million+ audience vs ~1-2 million Viewers of Levin’s show on TV.
Online-platform numbers: Carlson shows strong single-episode YouTube viewership (millions) and solid subscriber numbers (~1-1.5 million). Comparable digital data from Levin are scarce in the public domain.
Levine has a strong radio presence and syndicated reach, which could boost his total audience beyond TV numbers alone — but we don’t have apples-to-apples figures uniformly reported in the media.
Decision: Based on available data, Tucker Carlson currently (or historically in his TV era) has higher measurable viewer ratings in the major medium (TV) than Mark Levin. However, due to differences in platform (Carlson’s move to podcast/YouTube; Levin’s continuation of a radio/TV mix) and the lack of similar data across media, the comparison is not perfect.
And since the real arbiter of value is always the market, who is going to earn more?
Well, it’s Tucker again – by a long shot, if you compare them when they were both at Fox News or if you compare them now, either way Tucker is making more than Levin, which makes Levin’s claim that Tucker needs Levin’s help ridiculous:
