Discipline, dedication, intensive knowledge are the qualities that made him a leader who will take India to new heights: Defense Minister Singh

New Delhi, 17 September (IANS) celebrates the birthday of Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday praised the Prime Minister’s extraordinary qualities, saying “God has sent him to Earth with a purpose”. Recalling his early days with PM Modi, Singh appreciated his imaginative abilities, deep sympathy and emotional intelligence.

Moving into social media platform X with a caption with a caption, Rajnath Singh said, “There are some experiences that shape history curriculum. My first experience with Prime Minister Shri @Narendramodi was such an experience. In Jhansi, in my speech, I saw the future leadership.

“Discipline, dedication to the organization, intensive knowledge, and courage to accept every challenge are the qualities that will make him a leader who will take India to new heights. #Mymodistory.”

He further shared the video post and talked about his visit with PM Modi, dating back in his early political days.

Rajnath Singh said, “When Murali Manohar Joshi was a national president and led the yatra, Modi ji was working as his convenor,” said Rajnath Singh.

“It was during the time when I met him in Jhansi. He spoke for only 3 to 4 minutes, but the way he presented his thoughts was very impressive. That day, I thought myself if there is a future in BJP, it is in Modi ji.”

Defense Minister Singh, who worked as the national president of BJP from 2005 to 2009, recalled his regular talks and highlighted the valuable inputs of PM Modi during the party discussion.

“His suggestions were always fast, practical and extremely helpful.”

Describing PM Modi as a disciplined political activist, Defense Minister Singh shared a memory from the 2009 election campaign: “After the campaign ended, he came to my residence on Ashok Road and said,” I have come back to report. I have fulfilled the responsibilities you had entrusted to me. ” Such surrender is rare.

Despite the pressure of politics, PM Modi has always maintained a cheerful performance, Defense Minister Singh said. “He is always in a mood of a jolly. Some would expect such a heavy charge to be stressed, but he never shows stress.”

Talking about the 2014 general election campaign, Defense Minister Singh said, “When Modi ji was selected to lead the BJP’s Election Campaign Committee and later as the Prime Minister’s candidate, we traveled together in 17–18 states. His energy and ideas gave a new boost to the campaign.”

Rajnath Singh also revealed a low-term fact that Narendra Modi had traveled to many foreign countries even before becoming the Chief Minister of Gujarat and later.

He said, “He had this thirst to understand not only India, but the world. From a young age, he discovered other countries to learn about his culture and people. Such global awareness does not come without divine grace,” he said.

Highlighting PM Modi’s personal qualities, Defense Minister Singh said, “He has a vivid imagination and has deep sympathy. If he hears a tragedy, his eyes immediately rise up. He is incredibly hardworking, and I really believe that God has sent him to Earth for a special purpose.”

Born on September 17, 1950 in Vadnagar, a small city in Gujarat, a visit to Narendra Modi, is a notable story of Grit and Vision. Picked up under minor circumstances, his father, Damodardus Modi ran a tea stall at the local railway station, while his mother, Heerben was a housewife. Modi has four brothers and a sister.

At the age of 17, he left home to travel all over India demanding spiritual insight. He later joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), where he carried out the spirit of discipline and service. Inspired by Swami Vivekananda, his attitude has always mixed spirituality with nationalism.

PM Modi joined the BJP in 1985, served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014, and became the Prime Minister of India on 26 May 2014. He is currently serving his third consecutive term.
