Srinagar, August 15: Celebrating the 79th Independence Day, Director Information, Nitish Rajora today hoisted the national flag in the Directorate of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations at Polvyu.
Joint Director HQRS, Vivek Puri, Deputy Director, (PR/AV) Javed Ahmed and other senior officials and officials of the Director attended the flag-hosting ceremony.
Initially, the director greeted his heartfelt Independence Day, remembering the sacrifices of freedom fighters and the need to maintain the values of unity and integrity.
The director appreciated the commitment of the employees in giving reliable information to the public and urged them to work with renewed dedication.
He also called upon everyone to make positive contribution to nation-building and strengthen the spirit of patriotism.
