DIPR artists promote awareness on dengue prevention through Nukkad Natak

To mark the National Dengue Day, in collaboration with the Health Services, Jammu, the Cultural Unit Jammu, Artists of the Department of Information and Public Relations, a street play was organized today in Passenger Nevas, Bhagwan Nagar, Jammu.

The purpose of this phenomenon was to generate dengue, preventive measures and large scale awareness of effective control strategies.

The influential Street Play attracted the attention of the audience collected with a clear message on the importance of maintaining his attractive performance and maintaining cleanliness, avoiding stable water and to prevent the spread of dengue virus. Through humor, drama and educational story, artists successfully expressed important public health messages.

On this occasion, State Mallerologist J&K, Dr. DJ Raina emphasized the need for community participation in the fight against dengue. He expanded in detail on the symptoms of the disease, the importance of early diagnosis and the role of timely medical intervention. Dr. Raina also highlighted the continuous efforts of the Health Department in controlling vector-related diseases and urged the public to be cautious and informed.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from the information department from the army personnel, local people, health officials and officials, making it a successful initiative to raise health awareness and community.
