In the preparation of the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (Sanji) 2025, a comprehensive security review was conducted by Dig North Kashmir Range Maqsood-ul-Zaman (IPS) at Shadipora Transit Camp. SSP Bandipora Shri Harmeet Singh (JKPS) with DIG NKR was with CO 45 BN. CRPF, Co SSB Adhoc 16 BN., Co SSB Adhoc 17 Bn., SDPO SUMBAL, ShO PS Sumbal and other Field Officer of the Police, CRPF and SSB.
The team assessed the deployment strategy, monitoring systems, emergency preparations and logical arrangements to ensure the safety and convenience of the expected journey to undergo this important transit point in North Kashmir.
During the journey, Dig NKR reviewed the work of overall deployment scheme, CCTV surveillance, medical and emergency services, traffic regulation and contingency response mechanisms.
After inspection, a high-level coordination meeting was held at CRPF 45 BN. Senior officials of Headquarters, Sumbal, J&K Police, SSB and CRPF participated. Strategic deployment, layered security coverage, real -time intelligence sharing, convoy movement regulation, mob management and emergency response were focused on readiness. The mock drill was emphasized and maintained easy communication between the field unit and the control room.
Dig NKR directed all agencies to maintain high vigilance and coordination, rehaling that pilgrim safety remains the highest priority. All parties confirmed their commitment to ensure a smooth, safe and event -free Sanji -2025. Regular reviews and inspections will continue under the leadership of travel.
