Describing Kalki 2898 AD as a unique Indian film, he highlighted that it’s a blend of mythology and sci-fi. “It’s still an Indian film at heart, it’s Indian mythology, our culture, from being a south Indian, from being Telugu, from being Indian, from being a fan of Star Wars, all of that love comes into this one thing. It’s a new kind of thing,” he added.

Kalki 2898 AD, formerly known as Project K, is scheduled to release on January 12, 2024. The movie will be released in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and English.
