A real estate dealer shot his wife in Ghaziabad near Delhi and then died of suicide yesterday. Kuldeep Tyagi (46) left a suicide note, stating that he was detected of cancer and did not want the money to be wasted as recovery is uncertain. The note states that he had killed his wife, Prasu Tyagi, as he vowed to live together. The couple is alive by two sons and Kuldeep’s father, a retired policeman.
According to the police, Kuldeep shot his wife with a licensed revolver and then firing at her home at Radha Kunj Society of Raj Kunj Society of Raj Nagar at around 11 am. His sons were at home at the time of the incident and went to his parents’ room after hearing a gun bullet. Kuldeep’s body was found on the floor and Ansu was in bed. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
A suicide note was found in the room. “I am suffering from cancer, and my family is unaware of this. I do not want the money to be wasted on my treatment because existence is uncertain. I am taking my wife with you because we have vowed to live together forever. This is my decision. It is my decision. Anyone, especially my children do not have to blame,” read the note.
The police seized the pistol and sent the bodies for examination.
Senior police officer Poonam Mishra said, “Kuldeep Tyagi shot himself with his wife and then in his licensed revolver. In a suicide note, Kuldeep Tyagi said that he was suffering from cancer and his family members did not know about it. He did not want money to spend money, so he decided to kill his wife and himself.
