Srinagar, June 22: In a significant progress towards empowering tribal communities and ensuring broader access to government welfare schemes, “Dharti Aba Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan” was successfully successfully held in Gogtaji village Khanshib. The program was carefully conducted by the Rural Development Department, underlining the government’s commitment to services and overall development in tribal areas.
The incident is an important component of the nationwide “Dharti Aba Janjati Village Utkarash Abhiyan (Dajua)” and “PM-Janman” initiative, currently running from 15 June to 30 June 2025. Diwas – Ensuring that every tribal has reached home and no one has been left behind.
The Rural Development Department successfully organized the “Benefit Saturation Camps” to provide government benefits and services directly to the residents of Gojathji and nearby villages. These camps offered immediate registration and processing for a wide range of individual entitled cards and government schemes, in which identification documents (Aadhaar, caste, dominance), food and nutrition (ration card, potion campaign), health and insurance (Ayushman Bharat, PMMMV, TBMUSHT Bhai, Nikasheyana, Nikasheyana, Nikasheyana, Nikasheyana Loan, Stand-up India, PM Vishwakarma, Van Dhan Yojana), and Agriculture and Livelihood (Kisan Credit Card, PM-Kissan, Magraga).
The initiative included extensive awareness campaigns through loudspeakers in local dialects, interactive sessions and multilingual materials. It also focused on strong community gathering, which included local volunteers, self-help groups and farmer productive organizations to ensure participation regime. A major highlight sickle cell disease (SCD) was a dedicated campaign for awareness, screening and consultation, which directly benefit tribal individuals. The program empowered tribal youth to become “digital warriors”, which promotes local agents local agents.
Block Development Officer, Khanashib, confirmed the government’s commitment to tribal community development, highlighted the “Dharti Ab Janabhidari Abhiyan” as an important step in promoting final-meal distribution gaps and promoting overall welfare.
Today, Gojthji, Block Khanshib gives an example of the original principle of “the entire government’s approach” and “Janabhidari-Pipulas Participation” which is central for the Dharti Aba Jan Bhagidari campaign. It powerful confirms the statement of the mission of “bringing government benefits at every tribal door” and moves decisively towards realizing a tribal-rich future where every tribal affairs and every voice matters.
