DGP J&K Chairs Joint Safety Review Meeting Mr. Amarnath ji ahead of Yatra -2025

Director General of Police, Nalin Prabhat (IPS), Jammu and Kashmir, chaired a high -level joint security review meeting at the Range Police Headquarters, Anantnag to assess the overall security scenario in South Kashmir, with special attention to the upcoming Shri Amarnathji Yatra (Sanji) -2025.

After the meeting, DGP, Special DGP Coordination Mr. SJM Geeti-DIPS, IGP Security J&K J&K with a wide area of ​​major areas around Pahalgam along with the travel route, along with J&K Shri Sujit Kumar -PS, DIGP SKR and other senior officials. The DGP inspected the base travel camps in Nanwan and Channavari and conducted the security audit and reviewed the deployment and arrangements at these camp locations, ensuring that all logistics, infrastructure and personnel were placed for a smooth and safe pilgrimage convenience.

Additionally, a detailed security review meeting was chaired by DGP at Pahalgam, including senior officials of police, army, CRPF, BSF, ITBP and other agencies, including intelligence agencies, CID, traffic, SDRF, telecom, security and fire and emergency services. During the meeting, DGP J&K reviewed the current security currency and issued directions to strengthen preparations against any possible dangers, which laid emphasis on law and order management along with the Pahgam axis.

In its closing comment, DGP Jammu and Kashmir urged all officers and concerned agencies to work in close coordination and coordination to ensure peaceful, smooth and safe conduct of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra -2025.
