DGP chairs on administrative and logistic preparations for Amarnath Yatra

Director General of Police, J&K, Nalin Prabhat, IPS, chaired a high-level review meeting regarding administrative and logical preparations for the upcoming CAPF Coys, which was to be deployed for Sanji 2025.

Senior officials of Police, CRPF, ITBP, Telecom, SDRF, BSF, SSB and other affiliated agencies participated in the meeting held at the Police Control Room in Kashmir.

Initially, the zonal IGPS informed DGP on the CAPF induction situation in both regions. The officials also informed the chair about the administrative and logical arrangements made for the upcoming CAPF COS. CAPF coordination officials shared their feedback on administrative arrangements at various camping sites and transit places. Senior CAPF officials also expressed satisfaction with the administrative and transport system for the COSS COS.

DGP issued instructions for smooth induction of CAPF companies and emphasized that the district heads should ensure proper arrangements for the upcoming units and their efficient ground deployment. He further emphasized the need for high level coordination between all forces and directed that an effective inter-agency coordination mechanism be established.
