Dermot Murnaghan He has said that his family is “dealing really well” with his cancer diagnosis as he continues treatment.

The veteran broadcaster and former Sky News presenter, 67, announced that he has Diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer in June, Telling followers that he is “responding positively” to the treatment.

Prostate cancer can be completely cured if detected early through regular PSA testing. However, Murnaghan’s cancer was so advanced that doctors could not treat his prostate alone.

Murnaghan said Wire Her immediate thought upon receiving the diagnosis was, “What a fool I am.”

“I’ve been sitting on the couch talking to people about health stories my entire career. I was very aware of prostate cancer and the importance of PSA testing.

“I just thought, ‘Oh, I’ll finish it.’ And when I got tested in the hospital, it was horrible. Of course, the standards were off the scale.”
