Voters in suburban New York on Tuesday chose a Democrat to replace ousted Republican Rep. George Santos, U.S. television networks expect after President Joe Biden’s party spent heavily on television ads to flip seats in an election year. .
CNN and NBC News both called the election favorable for Tom Suozzi and predicted he would defeat Republican Mazi Pilip in the election Pilip, when the area was hit by a snowstorm.
