The incident occurred on Saturday aboard Delta flight 3248 from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Salt Lake City, Utah.
“When the plane door was being opened, The crew inadvertently deployed an emergency slide at the arrival gate at PIT, a spokesperson said in a statement shared Independent.
