Delhi Police has filed a charge sheet against businessman Sameer Modi, who is out on bail in an alleged rape and intimidation case.
Delhi High Court was informed about the charge sheet filed before Saket District Court.
On September 10, Delhi Police had registered a case of rape and criminal intimidation against Modi, former executive director of Godfrey Phillips and MD of Modicare. The FIR was lodged at New Friends Colony Police Station.
Modi has since filed a petition to quash the FIR, which was filed based on the complaint of a woman who claimed to be in a relationship with Modi since 2019.
Sameer Modi is the son of famous industrialist late KK Modi. He is the brother of IPL founder and fugitive Lalit Modi.
