New Delhi: In a big rift against foreign-based gangster networks working in India, Delhi Police Special Cell arrested two alleged criminals after morning encounter in the Kapashera area.
The arrested persons have been identified as Akash Rajput, a resident of Sri Ganganagar, and Mahipal, a resident of Bharatpur from Rajasthan.
According to officials, Akash Rajput has an important criminal history and wanted several high-profile extortion and kidnapping cases, which was associated with gangsters operating abroad. He was reportedly involved in the incident of firing outside a hospital outside a hospital outside a hospital in July 2022, at the behest of foreign gangster deller Kotia. He was in the final stages of receiving a fake passport to escape from the country.
On the other hand, Mahipal was first arrested in the case of Colonel Hospital firing, but was out on bail. He had since again joined Akash Rajput and joined the army with the same international criminal network.
During the operation, the sky retained a bullet injury on his lower body and was immediately taken for medical treatment. Mahipal was arrested without injury. The special cell recovered arms and other growing material from its possession.
Police officials confirmed that the operation was part of the ongoing attempt to destroy the Indian leg of the foreign-controlled gang network, which continue crimes such as forced recovery, contract killings and smuggling from abroad.
Legal proceedings are going on, and further investigation is expected to lead to more arrests in the coming days.
