Delhi Minister Ashish Sood has marched to highlight GST reforms

New Delhi, September 25 (IANS) Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood on Thursday spoke about the vision of adopting indigenous and building a developed India to spread awareness about the GST reforms launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to spread awareness among traders, customers and residents on March 1 in Janakpuri, West Delhi.

Sood said that the tax has now come down and it has become easier to buy goods, which has led to the encouragement to shopkeepers and customers.

“By presenting GST 2.0, the Prime Minister has provided long -term relief. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is constantly making efforts to ensure that these benefits reach the people. The Prime Minister has constantly advocated the use of indigenous products, which directly supports our artisans, small entrepreneurs and handcraft workers, it is a true symbol of a developed India.

March was held on the occasion of PM Modi’s birthday from 17 September to 2 October as part of “Seva Pakhwada” across the country.

He said that Delhi is the city of middle class families, service professionals, small traders and business owners, especially from this improvement. This will reduce people’s lives, invest more money in their pockets, and increase business, which will strengthen the overall economy.

Many traders and local citizens of Posangipur market actively participated in this march. Its purpose was to directly connect with the people and tell that this historical decision would not only benefit traders and consumers, but will also increase India’s economy to new heights.

The minister personally visited several shops in the market, interacted with traders, and explained in detail how these reforms would directly benefit both traders and consumers. Many traders and citizens warmly welcomed these reforms. Mr. Sood told the people that “Modi ji has given Delhiis a Diwali gift before the festival.”

He insisted that adopting a simplified GST structure with a significant rate cut is a new milestone in India’s taxation journey. He said that Delhi’s economy will get fresh pace, job opportunities will increase, and taxation will become even more transparent.

Sood reported that from 22 September these GST reforms confirmed India’s commitment to the manufacture of a simplified, fair and development-oriented GST structure, which ensures ease of living life for citizens and ease of trade for enterprises.

The minister insisted that this is not only tax relief, but is an important step towards self -reliant India (self -sufficient India) and indigenous vows. “Both of us should buy and sell in India’s products. This is the way to make India an economic superpower.”

He also underlined that the GST reforms of the next generation are not only designed to reduce tax rates, but also to create a virtuous cycle of development.
