Delhi government announced one day mourning on the death of VK Malhotra

An official said that New Delhi, 30 September (IANS) declared the Delhi government on Wednesday after the death of BJP leader and first Chief Executive Councilor Vijay Kumar Malhotra of Delhi.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta expressed grief over his death, calling it a huge and irreparable disadvantage.

An official statement said that CM Gupta said that the state government will ensure that their funerals are held with full respect.

Today, the Chief Minister visited his residence to honor Professor Malhotra, who was the first president of Delhi BJP, and reiterated that he died a huge and irreparable disadvantage.

He said that Professor Malhotra, who also worked as a member of Parliament and an MLA in Delhi, was an advance line of Bharatiya Jan Sangh and BJP.

He not only shaped the politics of Delhi, but also set new standards of public service, earned respect as a true servant of the people, he said.

As the first President of Delhi BJP, he strengthened the foundation of the party and directed countless workers with examples of service, discipline and dedication, he said.

The Chief Minister said that the life of Professor Malhotra followed patriotic, organizational skills and simplicity. He was a guiding person for party workers, and his selfless surrender will continue to inspire everyone.

The Chief Minister said that his death leaves a deep zero not only for the BJP family, but also in the social and political life of Delhi.

Professor Malhotra died at MIMS Hospital at around 6 am on Wednesday. The 94 -year -old BJP leaders were undergoing treatment for age -related diseases in Amaims for some time.

Following the news of his demise, President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President CP Radhakrishnan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and former President Ram Nath Kovind visited their residence to visit their residence and condensing the family.
