In east Delhi’s Pandav Nagar area, CISF women commandos defeated a chain snatcher in a crowded market in a manner that left him stunned. In fact, the defendant attempted to snatch the chain from the female officer’s hand. The police have arrested the suspect and started investigating the case. It is reported that at around 8 a.m. on October 2, CISF female police officer Supriya Nayak went for a walk near Akshardham Metro Station near her home.

At the same time, two young men on bicycles attacked him and tried to snatch the chain around his neck. They immediately captured one criminal and the other managed to escape. Constable Supriya Nayak shouted for help and people passing by immediately came to her aid.
Police arrest suspect
He then called the Delhi Police’s PCR helpline and informed the incident. Police reached the spot and arrested the accused. Officer Nayak was admitted to LBS Hospital for treatment. Police are busy searching for another accused who is absconding.
