New Delhi, Nov 20 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday attended the swearing-in ceremony of Bihar’s newly formed NDA government in Patna and praised the voters of the state for their clear message that development, good governance and stability are her top priorities.
“Today I attended the swearing-in ceremony of the newly formed NDA government of Bihar at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna. Hearty congratulations and best wishes to Honorable Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar Ji, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Samrat Chaudhary Ji, Shri Vijay Kumar Sinha Ji and all the respected members of the Council of Ministers.”
“I am confident that the double engine government under the visionary guidance of Honorable Prime Minister Shri @NarendraModi Ji and leadership of the Chief Minister will set new standards of good governance, prosperity and sustainable development,” the Chief Minister said on Twitter.
Posting several selfies with NDA leaders present on the stage, the Delhi Chief Minister said the enthusiasm of the public and BJP workers was clearly visible from the huge crowd at the venue.
He said, “Today, when the NDA government reached Patna for the swearing-in ceremony, the huge crowd gathered from the airport to the historic Gandhi Maidan, the trust of the respected public, the enthusiasm of the BJP workers and the aspirations of the people for a developed Bihar were clearly visible.”
CM Rekha Gupta said, “Bihar has been the guide of knowledge, democracy and social consciousness for centuries. Today, the same Bihar has moved strongly towards a developed future with new possibilities, new energy and new confidence.”
He said, “The people of Bihar have once again blessed the double engine government, sending a clear message that development, good governance and stability are their top priorities. Under the able guidance of Honorable Prime Minister Shri @NarendraModiji and the experienced leadership of Honorable Chief Minister Shri @NitishKumarji, the NDA government is committed to realizing the resolve of a developed Bihar with full dedication.”
CM Gupta had campaigned extensively for three days for NDA candidates in 15 assembly constituencies of Bihar.
She was among the five chief ministers of BJP-ruled states who were included in the party’s list of 40 star campaigners.
