There was a major controversy over a controversial catch taken by Shai Hope to dismiss Sanju Samson in the IPL 2024 match between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday. Samson, who was batting on 86, hit it straight to the ground to Mukesh Kumar, but was caught by Hope. However, while completing the catch, he came very close to the boundary line and some replays showed that there was a possibility that the West Indies international had touched the boundary line with the ball in his hand. Samson was not convinced by the result and had a heated exchange with the umpires. The cameras also captured the animated reaction of DC owner Parth Jindal, who kept shouting “You’re out” and the Internet was not happy with his reaction.

Talking about the match, Delhi Capitals posted a total of over 200 with the help of half-centuries from Jake Fraser-McGurk and Abhishek Porel, which was brilliantly defended by a disciplined bowling attack.
Who is Parth Jindal? That is vision for the blind. To the hungry, he is the cook. That is water for the thirsty.
If Parth Jindal thinks so then I agree. If Parth Jindal speaks, I am listening. If there is any fan of Parth Jindal then it is me. If Parth Jindal has no fans, I’m dead lmao pic.twitter.com/wgoxLuJW1d– Dev (@time__square) 7 May 2024

Parth Jindal is the most frustrating franchise owner in IPLhttps://t.co/4ofSOZgO1d— (@superking1816) 7 May 2024
“I think it was in our hands, it was like 11-12 runs per over, it was achievable, but these things happen in the IPL. Yes, we are doing both things right, we are depending on the conditions. Would like to hang on, had 10 runs extra to chase 220, if we had given a few fewer boundaries, we would have achieved it.”
Out or not out.
But for Sanju Samson, this behavior of Delhi owner Parth Jindal was very insulting.#DCvsRR #DCvsRR pic.twitter.com/6vRbTVTbEC

“DC’s opener (Fraser McGurk) came in and did what he’s done throughout the tournament, yet we came back well. We’ve lost three games but all those games have been really tight, we’re playing remarkably well. We have to do some fine tuning and come back, we have to keep the momentum going. Yes and no, really, you have to give credit to a player like Stubbs who batted well against Sandeep, who bowled very well in the last 10-11. Samson said after the match, “He hit 2-3 extra sixes against my best bowlers Yuji Chahal and Sandeep Sharma. We lost the game, we need to figure out where we lost the game and we need to keep moving forward.”
