New Delhi, Oct 26 (IANS) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda joined party colleagues and residents in Greater Kailash to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Mann Ki Baat” program on Sunday.

Across the city, Delhi BJP leaders and ministers lauded PM Modi’s message of social unity, environment awareness and celebrating festivals responsibly in the 127th episode of the radio programme.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, who attended the community screening of the program at Kedarnath Sahni Auditorium, said she was deeply inspired by the Prime Minister’s message.

He said, “When we connect with the society and follow the guidance of our respected Prime Minister, thousands of others connect. There is always a meaningful dialogue that inspires the society. Every time, something new happens – sometimes about the environment, sometimes about culture – but there is always something that helps the nation progress.”

At Greater Kailash, Nadda was joined by Union minister Pralhad Joshi, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva, BJP national media chief and MP Anil Baluni, New Delhi MP Bansuri Swaraj, prominent residents of Greater Kailash and BJP workers.

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said that PM Modi highlighted the importance of Chhath Mahaparva through his program, which should serve as an inspiration for everyone.

He said that following this spirit, the Rekha Gupta government in Delhi has decided to organize a grand celebration on the occasion of Chhath festival.

He said that the festival of Chhath reflects the deep unity between culture, nature and society. At Chhath Ghats, people from all sections of the society stand together – a beautiful example of the social harmony of India.
