The party leader said that New Delhi, September 16 (IANS) On Wednesday (September 17), on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, Delhi BJP leaders are planning to attend special prayers at Jhandewalan Temple.
An invitation shared by the Delhi BJP on Tuesday said that the ‘Sri Shatchandi Path’ will be organized in the temple’s prayer hall at 11 am.
The event will be organized by Akhil Bharti Sant Samiti (Dharam Samaj) in collaboration with Jhandewalan Devi Temple Trust.
Earlier, Delhi’s BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Tuesday unveiled a schedule of 17 activities, including cleanliness and blood donation drives, plans during a fortnight-lamb of public service campaign starting on 17 September on PM Modi’s birthday on 17 September.
Addressing the media, Sachdeva released a list of the Coordination Committee for programs to be organized during the fortnight of service.
Sachdeva said that Delhi BJP will organize 17 separate programs in a fortnight, from state level to mandal level to celebrate the Prime Minister’s birthday.
The Delhi BJP president also said that along with various organizational programs, BJP leaders and workers will also participate in programs organized by the Delhi government.
Sachdeva said that coordination committees have been formed for each program, and at the state level, State General Secretary Vishnu Mittal will coordinate the entire campaign.
The co-coordinators will be dinesh pratap singh, sona kumari, satyanarayan gautam, and rajkumar chautala.
17 programs starting with a cleanliness drive on 17 September include: Cleanliness Campaign; Tree plantation; Blood donation camp; Health check -up camp; Documentary on the life of the Prime Minister; Outreach for intellectuals; Distribution of selected books on Prime Minister; Honoring the disabled and other prestigious persons; Promotion of vocal for local; MP-level sports competitions; ‘Wikit Bharat’ painting competition; Modi development marathon; Exhibition based on the Prime Minister’s life; PT. Deandayal upadhyaya jayanti function; Festival of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayati; Public discussion campaign on Namo app and social media outreach campaign, and GST reform.
Sachdeva said that this two -week campaign will include people from all sections of the society, and more than 1 lakh BJP workers will contribute to making it successful.
The Delhi government has planned to launch 75 public welfare projects and schemes during a ‘Seva Pakhwada’ for a long celebration of PM Modi’s birthday between September 17 and 2 October.
