According to sources, the airlines faced a glitch in the baggage handling system at the Delhi airport on Sunday afternoon and the issue was later resolved. This disturbance lasted for about 15-20 minutes from around 1.45 pm.
This affected the movement of luggage for flights departing from Terminals 1 and 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport, sources said. There was no comment from airport operator DIAL or the airlines.
Delhi International Airport Limited operates IGIA, which handles around 1,300 flight movements daily.
