Deepika Padukone makes India proud by donning saree and presenting Non-English Film Award at BAFTA | WATCH

Deepika Padukone at the BAFTA 2024 Awards: It is indeed a proud moment for India as Deepika Padukone attends the BAFTA 2024 Awards as the presenter. The actress was the only Bollywood actress to attend the ceremony and presented the award in the Non-English Film Awards category. Deepika took to the stage wearing a golden saree by Sabyasachi and elegantly presented the award.

Before the awards were presented, Deepika introduced the nominations in each category. “The incredible stories nominated in this category depict real and imagined worlds that haunt us long after the closing credits roll. Before the ceremony, Deepika was seen walking the red carpet of the event. Reminding us of the Om Shanti Om days, Deepika walked the red carpet and posed smiling for the camera. She even showed photographers her backless blouse with her hair neatly tucked in before walking into the ceremony. For those who missed the awards ceremony, the 77th EE BAFTA Film Awards are being broadcast live on Lionsgate Play in India.

Deepika attended the 2024 British Academy Film and Television Arts Awards (BAFTA), a year after she took to the stage at the 2023 Oscars. The actress introduced RRR’s Oscar-winning song “Naatu Naatu” at the 95th Academy Awards in March 2023.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika was last seen in “Fighter” opposite Hrithik Roshan. The actress is rumored to be a part of the third season of “White Lotus” and has been roped in to do several films, including “Kalki 2989 AD” with Prabhas.
