“A vote for Sliva is a vote for Mamdani, it is a vote for New York-Stan,” read one graphic, which she reposted. Another ballot showed a ballot with the options “a Democrat” and “a literal communist jihadist… a literal Karl Marx-quote, America-hating jihadist.”

On social media, critics criticized the “Islamophobic” nature of some of Messing’s posts.
“Debra Messing meltdown in full swing. A shameful loser,” one person on X wrote alongside a screenshot of her Instagram Story.
Another said, “For some reason I punished myself by looking at Debra Messing’s Instagram and she has 20 stories that are just Islamophobia.”
“I think Zoharan has really broken her mind,” wrote a third.
Another said, “Debra Messing is now directly sharing Donald Trump’s posts.”
Messing had been a critic of Trump earlier also He shared a social media post in which he compared Republicans to Adolf Hitler.
