DC Srinagar visits Hazratbal, arranges arrangements for Eid-ul-Aadha

Beyond Eid-ul-Aajha, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat visited the Hazratbal temple on Friday to take stock of the arrangements made by various departments in connection with the celebration of Eid-ul-Azha.

The deputy commissioner was accompanied by senior officials of the district administration, police, other departments and Administrators Waqf Board.

Reviewing the arrangements at the spot, DC instructed the officials concerned to ensure all facilities for the devotees, especially due to water supply, electricity, healthcare, sanitation and pilgrimage due to and in and around the pilgrimage, proper transport, parking facility, deployment of tenders of fire and emergency control rooms for installation of Eid.

The DC also reviewed the arrangements being made by the Waqf administration in the shrine for the people on Eid-ul-Aza.

The DC further emphasized the officials, which to maintain close coordination to ensure the smooth conduct of the religious festival Eid-ul-Aaj at the Hazratbal pilgrimage site.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner has directed all the concerned officials to ensure such arrangements at all other places across the city, especially in major mosques and temples.
