Srinagar, June 10: On June 12, 2025, to review the arrangement for the celebration of Prakash Purba, marking the birth anniversary of Guru Hargobind Singh Ji, in a meeting chaired by a meeting, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-din in the hall of Bhat’s hall.
During the meeting, the system was finalized for the spontaneous ceremonies of Prakash Purba, especially at Gurdwara Chatipadashi Rainwari, where a large number of people are expected to participate on the occasion with religious devotion.
Initially, DC made a detailed evaluation about the arrangements made by various departments for the smooth ceremony of Prakash Purba in the district.
On the occasion, DC instructed the officials to ensure stupidity by their respective departments to celebrate the devotees of the Sikh community with full color by their respective departments. He instructed to ensure hassle -free traffic and parking arrangements and uninterrupted supply of electricity and water.
The DC directed the SMC officials to ensure sufficient measures to deal with the danger of the dog around Gurudwara Chatti Padshahi Rainwari.
The DC also directed the officials concerned to provide sufficient number of buses so that devotees could not face inconvenience while traveling to the rock.
Similarly, officials of health, food security, fire and emergency and other departments were directed to ensure all the expected measures for the devotees on the day in Gurudwara Chatti Padshahi Rainwari.
Earlier, members of the Bundandhak Committee at the district gurdwara present at the meeting informed DC about the requirements for the occasion.
He made adequate arrangements to ensure proper traffic and parking facilities, health facilities, safety management, hygiene and cleanliness in gurudwaras, especially Chattipadasahi Raat Ari, besides arranging uninterrupted power and water supply.
Apart from Adil Farid, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Adil Farid, the meeting was attended by SP Safety, R&B, PHE, SDM East, SDM West, Chief Sanitation Officer, Tehsildar Khanyar, Executive Engineer PHE and Superintendent Engineers of other officers.
