Kupwara, 31 July: District administration Kupwara today organized an interactive meeting with the administration officials (PWD) with the officials of the administration to discover their field of interest for their coverage under various self -employment schemes.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan at DC Office Kupwara.
Speaking on the occasion, DC said that the purpose of organizing interactive meeting is to know the field of interest of disabled persons to cover them under various self -employment schemes of the government which will change their lives.
He urged the PWDs to express their interest so that the administration missions can support them by skilling or financing them under various self -employment schemes like youth and PM Vishwakarma. He said that the purpose is to make them self -sufficient and to ensure that they live their lives with hard work and dignity.
Superintendent ITI Kupwara, while interacting with the participants, gave them detailed awareness about various trades and skill programs available at ITI specially competent persons.
Later, a separate session was held for the participants, seeking their details, including their details, name, address, qualification, area of interest and other information. During the session, participants were directed about courses and plans in which they showed their interest.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Pirzada Mumtaz Ahmed; Chief Planning Officer, Parviz Ahmed, Principal Government Polytechnic College Kupwara, Superintendent Iti Kupwara, Social Welfare Officer, concerned officers and a large number of disabled persons were present in the meeting.
