Anantnag, May 22, KDC: Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, SF Hamid today visited Nanwan and Chandanwari base camps to assess the ongoing development work and preparation status for the upcoming Shri Amarnathji Yatra.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress of important infrastructure works being executed by departments including water power, Public Health Engineering (PHE), R&B, and other affiliated agencies. Special focus was focused on the readiness of essential features such as drinking water supply, sanitation, power supply, housing and health care services.
DC also inspected the ongoing track clearance operations.
All stakeholder departments were instructed to ensure strict adherence for the scheduled deadline and maintain close coordination for the spontaneous execution of the tasks. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need to maintain quality standards to complete the time of all tasks to facilitate a smooth and safe pilgrimage experience for devotees. (KDC)
