Carvajal believes this creates imbalances and affects the integrity of competition.

Fan groups have protested against the move, but Serie A chiefs believe it is an important step to help increase the league’s worldwide appeal.
LaLiga President javier tebas Said it was a “historic step” and added: “We understand and respect the concerns raised by this decision, but it’s important to put it in context: this is one game out of 380 that make up the season.
“LaLiga represents millions of fans around the world, many of whom passionately follow their teams and deserve the chance to experience watching them live at least once.
“This match is about bringing our football closer to the global fan base without diluting the enjoyment of those who enjoy it all week long in stadiums across Spain.”
