Good morning to everyone. Today is Sunday, August 10, and my name is Pastor Rob Goodman. I am a senior pastor at the Seon Freedom Fellowship in Maryland, which is in the beautiful United States.
Best wishes to all of you. I pray that this message this morning finds you all well, that you bless the Lord, and that Jesus Christ’s redemption is alive and is working in your life. You know, God has a plan for each of us. His plan is always perfect.
Even though we do not always understand, we do not always understand naturally what God is, we can trust one thing – that God’s will is good. And he works together for the good of the people who love him and those who are called according to their purpose, according to Romans 8:29.
Oh father, I ask you today to anoint this message to you that you will suit this message. It is not that your word ever changes, but that you will cause this message to fulfill every person’s need. No matter what situation they are going through right now, no matter what tests they are facing, no matter what difficulty they are ending, your name is glorified and should be praised a lot.
Thanks, God, that you have an ideal plan in the store for each follower of your son Jesus. Lord, we declare that we are followers of Jesus and we will follow your entire will and plan for our life.
Thank you father. Thanks, God, what are you going to do throughout the earth. You are taking out your soul in a great and powerful way. Thanks, God, that you have an ideal plan for every person who is following your son Jesus. God, let your name be honored and glorified. Raise your praise above all countries of the world.
That your name is more than every name that is named, not only in this world, but at that age forever and forever, Jesus Christ, our God and our savior to come through the eternal blood covenant. God, I tell you to fulfill your divine purpose today through this message as people listen.
No matter where they are living, no matter where they are, no matter what is happening in their life, let your name be respected and glorified. We pray in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen and Amen.
Well, thank you for joining with me today. I pray that everything is fine where you are today. The Lord’s name is a high tower, and the righteous walks under it and they are safe. Praise be to God.
Your word will not zero you, but it will complete what you please, and it will be enriched in what you send to it. Thank you God. We know what Isaiah 55 says about your word – that it will not return zero for you, but it will complete what you please please and it will enrich it in what you send to do your word. Amen and Amen. Blessed Lord Jesus should be the name of Christ.
Well, I am going to share the title of today’s message with you. Today’s message is titled Danger and passion with greed. Danger and passion with greed.
And tonight the first scripture we are going to see is Isaiah 56: 10-11. This is a very powerful word here, and we are going to learn something about God’s people – that greed has no place in our life. Greed is a soul, and it should go. We should purify it from our life so that we can remain pure in front of God and achieve the stature of righteousness, which God has called us to live.
Amen. Do you believe so? Yes, I believe you do. Thanks, God, to use this message to talk to the hearts in the powerful name of Jesus today.
Ok. Isaiah 56: 10-11:
“Their watchmen are blind. They are all ignorant. They are all dumb dogs. They can bark – sleeping, sleeping, lying down.
Auch. Very good. It is a powerful word. “From their own territory, everyone for their own benefit.”
Now think about it for a minute. What is Isaiah saying? He is saying that shepherds cannot understand. They all see in their own way.
You know, as a shepherd of the Lord, as a pastor, and a single one called with a prediction gift, I have learned for years that my wish doesn’t matter. Jesus also prayed in the garden of Gethsemen. He was very upheaval, where he was really at the point of death with the pressure that was weighing him.
Even his disciples were not awake to pray with him. And that is human nature. They were sleeping, they were tired. Yes, there was late night and all kinds of things, but still – they should not have to sleep. They should have prayed.
And Jesus said to him, “Wait and pray for an hour.” Very good. It is difficult to do this sometimes. And yet we need to press on it. We need to press in intercasari prayer and really rely on the Lord to bring their full will in our lives.
… and they are shepherds who cannot understand. How many pastors have taken the role of a pastor as a job, so to speak – not a calling, but a job? And they do not even know the Lord. They do not know him. They do not understand him. They do not talk to him. Many of them have not been born again.
I have told you a story about my Lutheran pastor in the past because I was growing up. When I was born again, I was very excited to tell her that I survived. And he told me that I cannot believe everything written in the Bible. I was so, “Come now … what? You are joking with me.”
There was a man of God here, so to speak – no, he was not a man of God in the moon compared to man. But praise God. Then Isaiah says, “They all see everyone in their own way, for their own benefits.”
You know why you are in the ministry? I am talking to the pastor right now – why are you in the ministry? Are you in it for your own benefit? There are many clergy in the US who have built palaces, spent millions of dollars to make space to meet their church, and they do not know or do not know God.
They are all worried about how much money is coming in their ministry. They drive fancy cars, they wear the most expensive clothes. This is really sad for me. And then, prophets should be called out – because they are not living according to the righteousness of God, but they are living after their own benefits.
And Isaiah says, “From your own territory.” Wow, she is dice and spicy.
Let’s go to Proverbs 15:27. “The one who is greedy to harass his house, but the one who hates bribe will survive. The heart of the righteous is to respond, but the wicked face puts the evil ahead. The Lord is far away from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous.”
Listen to that one poem again – “He who is greedy to harass his home.” When you are living after a feeling of greed, and the feeling of greed is gaining control or climb in your life, you all care about your reputation, what kind of car you drive, and how much money you have in the bank.
You are missing the boat, my brother and my sister – it is missing a big time. And I am not here to condemn anyone or keep anyone down, but you are missing the boat. You are in a boat without any ears or motor, and it is not powered by the Holy Spirit. It is really unhappy, really unhappy.
Let’s go to Proverbs 1: 17-19: “Certainly the trap spreads to the vision of any bird in vain, but they lie in waiting for their own blood; they secretly lurk for their own life. So there are all ways that are greedy for benefits; it takes away the lives of their owners.”
Greed will rob every divine thing in your life. This will steal from you. Satan is greedy for your soul. He wants to remove you from the scar of righteousness and draws you directly into hell.
This is where greed will lead you – it will destroy you, rob you, beat you, and take you in bitter bond.
Proverbs 28:16 says, “A leader who lacks understanding is a great oppressor, but the one who hates represents will prolong his days.” There are souls of greed and greed that join by hand. God said, “You won’t be cowe out.”
Proverbs 22: 1 says, “A good name is to be chosen instead of great rich, the favor of love instead of silver and gold.” If your name is made by greed, you will not keep anything in a long time.
Paul left everything to follow Christ. Sorrow is not pleasant, but it teaches us. Desire of a good name instead of money.
1 Timothy 6 reminds us, “Because we do not bring anything in this world, and it is certain that we cannot take anything … The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.” Greed produces that love for money. God can bless you, but check your objectives.
Hebrews 13: 5 says, “Let your behavior be without iconic, be satisfied with such things as you have. Because he himself has said,” I will never leave you nor leave you. “
Luke 12:15 – “Keep in mind and be careful with greed, because in one’s life not involved in the abundance of things that he has.” Everything will pass here.
Matthew 6:24 – “No one can serve two masters … you cannot serve God and Mamon.” Don’t worry about your life. Anxiety only opens the door for fear.
Colossians 3: 1-5- “Set your mind on things above … Put the iconic of death, which is idolatry.” Greed is idolatry because you worship whatever you yearn.
Ephesians 5: 1-11- “It should not be named among you either … Any greedy man, who is a pagan, has any legacy in the kingdom of Christ and God.” The gospel is simple – trust and follow.
1 Peter 2: 1-9- “You are called an elected generation, a royal priest, a sacred nation … in their amazing light out of the darkness.”
Romans 1: 28–32 listed greed between the sins of those people.
1 Corinthians 6: 9-11 say, “And neither the iconic … the kingdom of God will be inherited. And there were some of you. But you were washed … Lord Jesus was appropriate in the name of Christ.”
Jeremiah 6: 13-15 says, “At least, everyone is given greed to greed … they behave falsely.” Many leaders say that “peace” when there is no peace.

“Jesus, I repent with all my sins. I repent of greed, greed, and idolatry. Clean me in every way. Help me closing the door for that soul. I refuse it and submit you alone. My way in my life.”
