Dancing On Ice champion Sonny Jay showed off his incredible weight loss on Instagram on Sunday.
The Capital FM star, 29, who also revealed he’s in a new relationship, posted two side-by-side photos of himself – one showing him before scrutinizing his lifestyle, and another showing off his six-pack.
Sonny wrote on Instagram, “I know… look at my face. I can’t believe it either! This year I kicked myself in the butt.
‘I started a new radio program in January, it felt like an empty canvas to achieve something for myself outside of work. I’m turning 30 at the end of June so I wanted to get fit for 30.
‘I started training with @jaytrainz in January and he’s been motivating me the entire time… We’re actually just getting started, but we wanted to post this to show you that if I can do this… anyone can can!’

Sonny continued, “Jay, thank you for pulling me through this and making exercise really fun!
“I am the healthiest and can honestly say the happiest I have ever been and may it continue to be so for a long time to come. Now give me the goddamn beer. Skinny though pls cos of calories n dat.’
Sonny further revealed that he has found love again, the five-year relationship with former fiancée Lauren Faith came to an end.
He told The Sun: ‘I feel the best I’ve ever felt, and that gives you a sense of confidence when you go out and talk to people.
“I’m in a relationship and I didn’t expect to be in it, in the nicest way possible.
“We’ve been seeing each other since January and the nice thing is that we’ve kept it so low-key.”
Sonny confirmed his split in June 2022, writing on Instagram on Thursday morning, “After five years of being together Lauren and I have decided that we are sadly parting ways.
“We have so much love and respect for each other and we will continue to support each other in everything we do.

“For now, we both need to focus on ourselves and our careers and we are both ready and excited to start a new chapter separately.

While Sonny is based in the UK, music producer Lauren has been spending time in LA with her work commitments.
An insider told The Sun: ‘Sonny and Lauren have called off the wedding.
‘It’s been a busy time for both of them since Sonny won Dancing on Ice and Lauren’s music production took off.
“They both want a fresh start and have swept each other off their social media pages.”

Sonny – who co-hosts the Capital FM breakfast show with Roman Kemp – shared two much-loved snaps in Mykonos with his then fiancee, who was dressed in a gorgeous red halter dress.
The pair first got together after he showed up at her door with flowers and asked her to “be mine.”
Reflecting on their romance in April 2019, Sonny wrote, “I can’t believe it’s been two years since I came to your house with a bunch of flowers and asked you to be mine.
“The last two years have gone by so fast and yet we have achieved so much together. Thank you for being the best support I could ever ask for! Happy anniversary – I love you.”
