The spin-off of the Spider-Man film series, “Mrs. Spider-Man,” will be released on February 16. The superhero movie is directed by SJ Clarkson and stars “Fifty Shades of Grey” star Dakota Johnson, along with Emma Roberts, Sidney Sweeney, Isabella Merced and Cy Lester O’Connor plays an important role. Dakota Johnson plays the character of Cassandra Webb, a paramedic with psychic powers who attempts to protect three women from a mysterious adversary. Ahead of Mrs. Weber’s release, Dakota Johnson revealed information about the film in a recent interview. According to the actress, the script went through “huge changes” after Mrs. Webber signed on to the film.

In an interaction with The Wrap, Dakota Johnson said that when she agreed to be a part of Mrs. Webb, the script was completely different. Although she admits she doesn’t remember it now, the actress revealed that the final draft that made it to the screen bore almost zero resemblance to the original script. “There have been huge changes. I can’t even tell you what they are,” Johnson claimed. Executing these scenes became a challenge as director S.J. Clarkson navigated multiple versions of the past, present, and future due to Cassandra Webb’s clairvoyant abilities during filming.

Explaining the difficulty of filming, Dakota Johnson added, “It added a lot of different camera settings and tripled the workload. It was very complex, with only tiny differences between each version of the same scene, so it was Like a puzzle piece, and really focusing on the moment we’re in, the angle we’re in, and continuity and things like that.”

Dakota Johnson went on to say that she sometimes couldn’t remember which version she was filming and felt a little “lost.” However, the actress was full of praise for SJ Clarkson, praising the director for always being so attentive. “Yes, I do get very lost and SJ always knows where we are, which is really incredible,” she concluded.

Earlier, “Mrs. Web” producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura talked about the reason why the film’s post-credits scene was missing. Calling it a “conscious decision,” the producer revealed that the makers wanted “there to be an ambiguity that would allow another piece to solidify it in a certain direction.” He added that the storyline of “Mrs. Weber” is in line with The other films in the Spider-Man franchise are completely different.
