“And therefore, the conference, while you never discredit me the desire to go to the university, I do not think the way we measure success in education in the present – that is an ambition that 50 percent of children to get Uni – I don’t think it’s right for our time, because if you choose a trainee, what do we say?
“Because we need, but I could not help feel that my father was right.
“So, the conference, today I can declare that we will scrap that goal and replace it with a new ambition that our two-thirds of our children should either go to the university or take a golden standard training.”
