Itanagar, 6 October (IANS) Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lieutenant General KT Pranic (Retired) said on Monday that in digital space, cyber crime, publicity and extremist ideologies are creating new weaknesses, often targeting youth and spreading uncertainty.
Inaugurating the Human Performance Laboratory at the Parsiara Raksha University (RRU), Pasighat campus in the Psychological Center and Human Demonstration Laboratory in Eastern Siang district, the governor underlined that zero tolerance towards smugglers should go to hand with Karas and take care of those people.
Sharing its observation of geo-politics and daytime strategic defense, the Governor said that the society today faces many challenges that test our peace, unity and security.
“Challenges include misuse of activation, increasing religious disagreement, protests that sometimes become disruptive, and include terrorism and increasing dangers of rebels while these issues are complicated, they are not inaccessible.
The governor said that collective awareness and community partnerships are important for the creation of a safe, strong and more harmonious society. Lieutenant General Pernic (Retd.) Also unveiled the foundation stone for the center of excellence for testing drugs in the Pasighat campus of RRU.
The Governor took further initiative to combine the science -leading enforcement with a human attitude to the RRU and the district police, for the initiative to appear for their forwarded appearance. These stages, they emphasized, will strengthen the war of Arunachal Pradesh against drugs and protect the future of their youth.
The Governor appreciates the active policies of the state government, from the state government’s active policies, ranging from religious disagreement, terrorism and cyber crime to the threat of drug abuse,, active challenges in front of the society.
He said that zero tolerance towards smugglers should go with compassion and take care of people struggling with drug addiction.
Referring to the syllabus provided in RRU, the governor highlighted the importance of smart policing.
He asked the law enforcement agencies to go beyond reactive ways and adopt preventive, technology-operated and community-centric strategies, which are human, accountable and inherent in public trusts.
In his address, the Governor encouraged them to pursue excellence with integrity and innovation, reminding them that their education was a commitment to national service.
The Governor expressed his happiness in visiting the Pasighat campus of RRU, which is an institution of national importance, it is called the nursery of national service, leadership and character building.
The Governor hoped that RRU would play an important role in shaping a safe, healthy and progressive society, and called upon all stakeholders to nurture the culture of excellence, innovation and service for the future of the country.
