In a continuous wave of cyber offensives, account on X “Pakistan Cyber Force” has shown that the group allegedly had access to sensitive data from Indian military engineering service and Manohar Parrikar Institute of Defense Studies and Analysis.
According to sources, the claim suggests that the attackers may have compromised on individual information related to defense personnel, including login credentials.
Apart from this data breech, it has also been reported that the group also tried to discredit the official website of a PSU company Bakhtarband vehicle Nigam Limited under the mod. The website has been replaced using Pakistan’s flag and Al Khalid tank.
Sources said that as a precautionary measure, the website of the armored vehicle Nigam Limited has been completely and deliberately taken offline for audit, so that the displacement effort can assess the limit of any possible damage and ensure the integrity of the website.
In addition, cyber security experts and agencies are actively monitoring cyberspace to detect any additional cyber attack, especially those who can be sponsored by danger actors associated with Pakistan.
The objective of this ongoing monitoring is to quickly identify and reduce any future risks generated by these cyber attackers.
