Police and gangsters clashed at two different police station areas in Noida last night. In the process, two gangsters suffered gunshot wounds. Meanwhile, a gangster escapes from the police and runs away. The injured criminals have been sent to the hospital for treatment, and the police are intensively searching for the absconding criminals. During the encounter, police recovered a stolen bicycle, pistol and bullets from the gangsters.
The first encounter took place near DLF Mall under the jurisdiction of Sector 20 police station when the police tried to stop a suspect on a bicycle during inspection. The criminal, identified as Ajit, had committed cases such as theft of two-wheelers, robbery of chains and mobile phones.
When stopped by the police, Ajit fired at the police and tried to escape. In retaliation, he was shot in the leg. The police immediately took him to the hospital. Ajit was mainly used to carry out thefts against the Film City in Area 16A.
The second encounter took place at Pusta Road of the 126 Police Station, where two gangsters on bicycles were involved in factory and house thefts and robbery of passers-by. When the police tried to stop them during inspection, the gangsters shot at the police and tried to escape. During this time, his bike collided with a guardrail and slipped. In retaliatory firing by the police, a criminal named Gaurav alias Tushar was injured while his associates fled the spot. Gaurav has also been admitted to the hospital for treatment and the hunt for the absconding criminal is on.
