Srinagar, May 28 (KDC): The State Investigation Agency (SIA) Kashmir said on Wednesday that he had caught a declared criminal in the narco-attentive case, who had been arresting for the last two years.
In an official statement by Srinagar-based news agency Kashmir.com, Sia said, “Sia Kashmir declared the criminal Abdul Rashid Mir, resident of Amargarh, Sopore, who had been largely in the last two years. The accused is a part of a cross-border Narco-Terror Module in the Valley.”
The agency said, “The drugs and small weapons were crossed the border by the late terrorist operators in Sopore Town and then paid in the valley among the youth,” the agency said.
Further statement said, “During the investigation of the case (FIR 19/2022), eight members of the Narco-Terror Module have been arrested by Siya Kashmir so far.”
Describing the latest arrest as important, the SIA said, “Abdul Rashid Mir’s arrest is a major setback for Narco-Attakwadi operators across the border that pushes the youth into drugs in addition to using income to fuel terrorism in the central region.” (KDC)
