In a review for NDTV, film critic Saibal Chatterjee gave Crack 1 out of 5 stars and said, “There’s nothing fun about it Crack, It wants to be the best Bollywood extreme sports drama, but its creative resources fall far short of its grand ambitions. So, what we have is a grim and tired film without any stigma that can be construed as an attempt to make amends for its complete lack of control. In his entry scene, Arjun Rampal, wearing dungarees, walks on a rope which ends with him killing a police informer who has infiltrated his lair. The mole falls and dies. The sequence does not create any fear. “Neither the character nor the actor represent any kind of threat.”
