Counting Anand on Israel to allow Ottawa’s humanitarian aid trucks in Gaza

Ottawa – External Affairs Minister Anita Anand says that Ottawa has trucks of assistance to reach desperate Palestinians in Gaza, and are relying on Israel to allow them.

Anand says that Jordan, which is the boundary of Israel and West Bank, has allowed Canada a pre-state assistance, until Israel allows it to enter the Gaza Strip.

She says that she spoke with her Israeli counterpart on Friday, “to assure that the trucks carrying Canadian aid would be allowed to enter Gaza.”

Since then, Israel has stated that it will allow some human corridors to install, so that United Nations Group can provide assistance, as well as possible aircraft.

After months of experts, it was decided that famine -making assistance has been killed after hundreds of Palestinians trying to find food on Israeli’s tight restrictions and site installed by Israel at risk.

Israel has reduced reports working on starvation deaths by several human groups, and claimed that United Nations has failed to distribute assistance, although United Nations agencies say Israel is still not allowing adequate food and fuel.
