Jaipur, October 1 (IANS) Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara, accusing him of deep roots and hypocrisy.
Reacting to Dotasara’s recent comments, Dilawar said, “Only Govind Dotasara can only lie on his birthday and speak fraudsters. Congress politics is synonymous with corruption and double standards.”
Dilawar alleged that during the previous Congress government, the Education Department was converted to the center of corruption, with large -scale irregularities in the teacher transfer.
“Dotasara converted the education department into a den,” he said, saying that the transfer was openly sold under his watch.
Referring to the incident of a teacher’s day during the tenure of the then Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Dilawar said, “Even the teachers publicly told the CM that money was being demanded for transfer. Dotasara’s arrogance should have ended that day.”
In contrast, he claimed that under the current BJP government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, all transfer are being conducted with full transparency and merit-based criteria. “BJP is committed to clean governance,” he said.
Dilawar also accused Dotasara of being distressed at losing power, “His real pain is not losing the election – it is losing the opportunity of profit. His politics has always revolved around money and posting.”
He further cited a Transparency International Report, according to him, ranked Rajasthan as the number one state in corruption related to transfer during Congress rule.
Addressing the criticism of Dotasara’s weapon worship (scripture worship), Dilawar said, “The demons are afraid of weapons, and the Congress is upset with our traditions. Weapons are a glorious part of Indian culture and will continue regardless of Congress objections.”
Dilawar’s commentary Rajasthan’s decisions mark another growth in the ongoing war between the BJP and the opposition Congress, as the two sides are further ready for major electoral battles.
